The effectts of cippa model on work and energy on physics concepts, physics problem solving abilities, and attitude towardsphysics of tenth grade students
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to compare Physics concepts, Physics problem solving abilities, and attitude towards Physics of tenth grade students after using CIPPA Model and before learning using CIPPA Model and 2) to compare Physics concepts of tenth grade students after using CIPPA Model with the 70 percent criteria. The participants were 39 tenth grade students who studied in the second semester of 2015 academic year at Chonburi Sukkhabot School. The sample was identified by cluster random sampling. The research instrument consisted of 1) CIPPA Model lesson plans, 2) Physics concepts test, 3) Physics problem solving abilities test, and 4) Attitude towards Physics test. The data was analyzed using Mean, Standard Deviation, Paired sample t-test, and One sample t-test. The research found that: 1) The posttest scores of Physics concepts, Physics problem solving abilities, and attitude towards Physics of tenth grade students after using the CIPPA Model were statistically significant higher than the pretest scores at the .05 level, and 2) The posttest scores of Physics concepts of tenth grade students after using the CIPPA Model were statistically significant higher than the 70 percent criteria at the .05 level
