Development of a ubiquitous experince-based instructional system to enhance competencies on information technology for eucation of student teachers at Nakhon si thammarat rajabhat university
Abstract:
This is a research and development. the main goal was to develop a ubiquitous experience-based instructional system to enhance competencies on information technology for education student teacher at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University. The specific objectives were;1) to study the components of the ubiquitous experience-based instructional system, 2) to validate the efficiency of the developed instructional packages on ubiquitous experience-based instructional system, 3) to compare the pre-test and post-test learning scores with the developed instructional packages, 4) to study students satisfaction towards the instructional system, and 5) to assess and certify the instructional system from the educational experts. The samples used in the study comprisedof 1) 10 experts in educational technology and instructional design specialists, 2) 42 student teachers from Faculty of Education, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University usingby Purposive Sampling, and 3) 5 educational experts for assessingand verifyingthe instructional system. The research instrument were 1) the instructional packages on ubiquitous experience-based instructional system, 2) an achievement test, 3) students satisfaction questionnaire, and 4) assessment and verification forms for educational experts. The data were analyzed usingPercentage, Means, Standard Deviation, E1 / E2 and t-test (Dependent sample). Major Findings: 1. The developed ubiquitous experience-based instructional system to enhance competencies on information technology for education student teacher at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University consists of five component: 1) Context analysis, 2) Input factors analysis, 3) Learning Process, 4) Result, and 5) Improvement 2. The efficiency validation of the instructional packages on ubiquitous experiencebased instructional system was found that value of E1 / E2 of set learning unit 1-4 were: 80.67/ 79.33, 80.18/ 80.33, 81.02/ 81.00, and81.75/ 80.00respectively thus meeting the 80/ 80 criteria. 3. The post-test score was higher than the pre-test at .01 significant level. 4. The students satisfaction toward the instructional system was at the high level. 5. The instructional system were assessed verified at the highly Appropriate level
