Abstract:
The research entitled The Motivation Affecting the Employee Performance: A Case of Trimotive Asia Pacific Co., Ltd. is a quantitative and qualitative study that employed a survey method collected through filled questionnaires from 170 employees, and interviews with the management with regard to the future Human Resource Management approach. The data were analyzed by means of percentage, standard deviation, hypothesis testing via t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis (MRA). The study indicated that most of the respondents were males, single, under the age of 30 years. They have worked as operations employees in the operations. Their qualifications were lower than undergraduate degree. The income was between 15,001-25,000 Baht. They have worked less than five years. Their opinions toward the variables of the motivation and supportive factors were rated as medium level. As for the factors affecting work performance in the Thailand 4.0 era that the sample highly agreed upon were agility. The hypothesis test showed that the difference of the sample in gender, age, status, job position, education, monthly income, working duration led to difference in the job performance.The motivating factors that influenced the efficacy of the employee performance were type of job tasks, success of the work, employee peer recognition, and growth. The supportive factors that influenced the efficacy of the employee performance were salary and wages compensation, relationships with work-related perspectives, working environment, policies and management issues.
