Evaluation of the success of the village's potential upgrade project to drive based economy from the guidelines of the civil state a case study of Watthana Nakhon District Sa Kaeo province
Abstract:
This research attempts to investigate factors contributing to the success of the villages potential upgrade project, analyze and evaluate the success of the project as well as to acknowledge the problems, obstacles that influenced the success of the project operation, and to suggest the guideline for sustainable project. This qualitative research studies two sub-districts which covered 6 villages. The instruments in this study were interviews and observation. The data were collected, analyzed using interpretation and content analysis. The findings reveal that the key factors to the success of the project were internal factors which included community leaders, participation of the community and the requirement of the community as well as external factors which comprised of state network, information exchange and, protocol to encourage corporation. The findings reveal that, for the establishment of knowledge from the project operation in all projects, people can earn the benefit from the project, the network to exchange knowledge. For the impacts on society, economy and, environment, the locals can reach the success from the social capital. They can establish good relationship in the community. For the maintenance and extension, the products and knowledge of each village can be exchanged. The analysis and evaluation of the success of the villages potential upgrade project to drive based economy from the guidelines of the civil state indicated that for the output, the budget was used to reach the timeline of the project as well as the needs of the community. For the outcome the advantage, it was found that people can earn the benefit of all projects since they were the projects from their own requirement. For establishment of the knowledge from the project operation, it was found that local people were hired to operate the project. Also, the people can earn the knowledge. For the social and economy factors, it was found that the people can exchange knowledge and can create income from this. Also, it can strengthen their community. For problem, obstacles affecting the success of the projects operation, it was found that the limited condition, budget and time can limit the majority of the project that the unsustainable, notworth-to-invest projects were selected. Therefore, to solve the limitation, the constraints on condition, budget and time should be adjusted for further successful projects in the future
