Abstract:
The objectives of the research were to study the factors making Pracharath Rak Samakkhi
Social Enterprise successful or unsuccessful and the ways to achieve in the development of agricultural
products of Pracharath Rak Samakkhi Social Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
In the research methodology, mixed method research was used. To qualitative research,
in-depth interview techniques were used by asking opinions from 15 directors and representatives of
Pracharath Rak Samakkhee Social Enterprise. Focus group technique was also used to confirm the form
of success factors of Pracharat Rak Samakkhee Social Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd. To quantitative
research, survey methods were used 3 groups of samples: 1) Civil servants from various related
departments, 2) Company officers and 3) People or farmers joining the company. These samples were
from the provinces registered in Phase 1, consisting of Chiang Mai, Udon Thani, Buriram, Phetchaburi
and Phuket. Statistics used for analysis include descriptive statistics; such as frequency, percentage,
mean and standard deviation, and inferential statistics used to test the hypothesis was Analysis of
Variance: ANOVA.
The findings of the research revealed that from 5 main variables of management, personnel
was considered to be the first priority issue, so personnel should be selected or recruited from people in
the local community or in the area. Next, for the sustainable agricultural development, it was found that
the factor of public participation continuously encouraged by community leaders and from government
affected the success of Pracharat Rak Samakkhee Social Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at the very high
level. In addition, for marketing factor concerning agricultural product, assistance to design and create
the identity of agricultural products was highly significant. Later, in order to promote access to the
production factors, the construction of agricultural facilities, such as helping to look for agricultural
equipment, was highly significant as well. Furthermore, to the factor of agricultural knowledge building,
there should be the promotion of the use of modern technology or agricultural innovation.
