Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study: 1) the current and desirable conditions of the creative leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) the guidelines for developing the creative leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.
The sample consisted of 315 teachers under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, chosen by stratified random sampling using the Krejcie and Morgan formula. The key informants for interview were 8 school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research instruments were questionnaire and interview form. The data analysis composed of descriptive statistics by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNIModified), and content analysis.
The results showed that in an overview, the current and desirable condition of the creative leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 was at a high level. This also showed that the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNIModified) of the creative leadership of an imagination viewpoint of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, has the highest PNI Modified value, followed by problem-solving, vision, trustworthiness, and flexible leadership, respectively. For the guidelines of developing the creative leadership of school administrators under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, it was found that the leadership vision must be a good listener who listened to external reflection, accepted the differences between people with participatory management. The imaginationleadership must be a good planner with clear guidelines who found a solution to the problem and proposed a policy for success. The leadership flexibility viewpoint must possess the emotional stability that predicted and handled the potential events, and wellrounded to use technology for searching and making decisions. The problem-solving leadership must follow regulations and related principle, analyze the cause of the problem, plan the action respectively, communicate, order, and inspect the operation. The trustworthiness leadership must be good role models, practiced good governance, and assigned jobs according to knowledge and ability of members.
