Abstract:
The purposes of this study were 1. to explore the risk of having intercourse and the
level of risk and 2. to explore factors affecting sexual risk behavior of female senior high school
students in Mueang Chon Buri district. The samples of this study included 400 female high
school students studying in schools in Chon Buri province in academic year 2018. Thedata
collecting instrument was a rating scale questionnaire with the α of risk of having intercourse at
.97 and the α of sexual risk behavior at .95. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency,
percentage, means, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested using t-Test and one way
anova. If significance of a pair of means was found, Least Significant Difference (LSD) at
statistical significance of .05 would be applied. The findings were as follows.
Overall, the risk of having intercourse was in moderate level seeing from combined
arithmetic mean and individual means of internal, external and contributing factors. And, the
sexual risk behavior was in low level seeing from factor of seduction.
The hypothesis test revealed that factors of having intercourse positively related to
sexual risk behavior in moderate level at statistical significance of .05.
