Abstract: ผู้วิจัยเห็นว่าการศึกษาเรื่องภาษาศิลปะของศิลปะร่วมสมัยมีสิ่งสำคัญอยู่ 2 ประการ ได้แก่ แนวคิดและรูปแบบ แนวคิดคือ ชีวิตของศิลปิน รวมถึงการเข้าใจและการตระหนักถึงชีวิต สิ่งนี้สามารถเรียกอีกอย่างได้ว่า มุมมองของศิลปิน ส่วนรูปแบบนั้นก็คือวิธีการแสดงออกของภาษาศิลปะ สิ่งสำคัญทั้งสองประการเหล่านี้ก็คล้ายกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างร่างกายมนุษย์กับวิญญาณ สิ่งเหล่านี้ล้วนไม่สามารถอยู่ได้ด้วยตนเองไม่มีอะไรที่สมบูรณ์แบบ แต่ทว่าในความเป็นจริง ศิลปินในปัจจุบันสามารถเรียนรู้รูปแบบของการแสดงออกทางศิลปะได้ง่ายมากกว่าแต่เดิมที่เป็นเพราะว่า สิ่งสำคัญทั้งสองประการที่สามารถแสดงรูปแบบได้อย่างตรงไปตรงมา ทั้งยังเป็นประโยชน์แก่ศิลปินโดยตรง เนื่องจากให้ความสำคัญในด้านภาษาศิลปะของศิลปินมากเกินไปจึงส่งผลให้แนวคิดและจิตวิญญาณนั้นถูกละเลยและโดนมองข้าม ดังนั้นจึงส่งผลให้เกิดการแอบอ้างและขโมยผลงานตามมาได้อย่างง่ายดายเนื่องจากเหตุผลดังกล่าวนี้ จึงทำให้ผู้วิจัยมุ่งเน้นที่จะศึกษาในเรื่อง ภาพลักษณ์และแก่นสารของศิลปะร่วมสมัย ซึ่งสามารถเรียกอีกอย่างได้ว่า แนวคิดและรูปแบบของศิลปะร่วมสมัย นักสุนทรียศาสตร์ร่วมสมัยที่ยอดเยี่ยมของศตวรรษที่ 20 (Arthur C Danto) เคยกล่าวไว้ว่า “ศิลปินร่วมสมัยของประเทศจีนนั้นได้สร้างคุณงามความดีไว้ให้แก่โลกในด้านภาษาศิลปะมากมาย แต่กลับไม่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากโลกเท่าที่ควร” ประโยคดังกล่าว ฟังดูแล้วเหมือนจะถูกต้อง แต่หากกลับมาคิดทบทวนแล้วก็จะรู้ได้ว่าประโยคดังกล่าวนั้นไม่ถูกต้อง เพราะหลังจากที่ผู้วิจัยได้เริ่มศึกษาค้นคว้าหาข้อมูลดูแล้วก็เรียนรู้ได้ว่า การรู้แจ้งของศิลปะร่วมสมัยตะวันตกนั้นมาจากปรัชญาจีนโบราณ (แนวคิดของปรัชญาเซน) ดังนั้นการทำวิจัยในครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัย จึงมุ่งเน้นศึกษาในเรื่องความสวยงามในแบบเซน ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วย 1) ความงามที่สำคัญของจีนโบราณสองประการ 2) ลักษณะของการคิดเชิงสุนทรียะของเซน นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยยังมุ่งศึกษาในเรื่องประวัติความเป็นมาและการพัฒนาของนิกายเซน ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วย 1) อิทธิพลของเซนที่มีต่อวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่น 2) อิทธิพลของเซนที่มีต่อศิลปะร่วมสมัยของตะวันตกจากการศึกษาค้นคว้า ทำให้ผู้วิจัยเรียนรู้ได้ว่า เซนนั้นเกี่ยวข้องกับแนวคิดของสุนทรียศาสตร์และศิลปะ นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาค้นคว้าเกี่ยวกับผลงานที่เป็นตัวแทนมากที่สุดของศิลปินร่วมสมัยและกฎการสร้างศิลปะของศิลปินแต่ละท่าน (เช่น Mondrian, Jackson Pollock) เพื่อใช้ในการอธิบายบทความให้มีความน่าเชื่อถือมากขึ้น หลังจากได้ศึกษาข้อมูลต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องเสร็จเรียบร้อยผู้วิจัยก็จะทำการวิเคราะห์เพื่อชี้ให้เห็นถึงสิ่งสำคัญของความสวยงามในแบบเซน จากการเรียนรู้กฎเกณฑ์ต่าง ๆ ของเซน ทำให้ผู้วิจัยเกิดแนวคิดในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะของตนเอง โดยใช้หลักการแนวคิดของเซนเป็นตัวสนับสนุน โดยมีเป้าหมายในการสร้างสรรค์ ผลงานศิลปะ ดังนี้ 1) แสดงให้เห็นถึงความงามและแนวคิดแบบเซน 2) ใช้ความงามในแบบเซน มาเป็นแนวทางในการสร้างงานจิตรกรรมนามธรรมส่วนตน การสร้างสรรค์เช่นนี้สามารถบ่งชี้ให้เห็นถึงหลักแนวคิดของเซน โดยแสดงให้เห็นว่าภาษาศิลปะร่วมสมัยผสมผสานเข้ากันได้อย่างเป็นธรรมชาตินอกจากนี้ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับ สุนทรียศาสตร์ของเซนที่ผสมผสานกับงานศิลปะสามารถยกระดับคุณภาพของผลงานทางศิลปะได้

Abstract: The researcher believes that there are two important elements of the study of Contemporary Artistic Language such as concepts and styles. Concept is rooted in the artist's life, which includes understanding and realization of life, as known as the artist's perspective. Another element is style which means the expression of the artistic language. Therefore, the relationship between these two important things are similar to the relationship between the human body and spirit, as they could not exist without each other when nothing is perfect. And in fact it is now easier for artists to learn about the Artistic Expression Style, for both of the important things are expressed straightforwardly. This is directly beneficial for the artists, as the excessive focus on the artistic language could result in the neglect and overlook of concept and spirit, as well as the subsequent jactitation and plagiarism. Due to this reason, the researcher decides to focus on studying the image and essence of Contemporary Art. In other word, this is the study of concepts and styles of Contemporary Art. Arthur C. Danto, one of the greatest contemporary aestheticians once stated that “The contemporary artists of China have created several virtues for the world in many artistic languages, but they do not receive much support from the world”. This sentence sounds correct. But with careful reflection, we could realize that it is incorrect. According to the study, the researcher found that the enlightenment of Western Contemporary Art was influenced by the Ancient Chinese Philosophy, especially from the concept of Zen philosophy. Therefore, the researcher conducted study and focused on Beauty in Zen philosophy which involves 1) two important principles of beauty in Ancient China, and 2) the nature of Zen aesthetic. ช In addition, the researcher also focused on the history and development of Zen philosophy which involves the influence of Zen philosophy on 1) Japanese Culture and 2) the Western Contemporary Art. In this study, the researcher found that Zen is related to concept of Aesthetics and arts. Furthermore, the most representative works from contemporary artists and each artist’s rule of creation (such as Mondrian, Jackson Pollock) supported the explanation in this study. After completely studying all the relevant information, the researcher conducted the analysis which indicate the core of Zen Beauty. After the literature review, the researcher created works of art which rely on the code of conduct in Zen philosophy. The goal of creating art works included the followings. 1) Demonstrating the beauty and concept of Zen. And 2) adapting Zen beauty as a guideline for the researcher’s creation of abstract painting. The creative works indicated that the primary concepts of Zen philosophy could be integrated naturally with the language of contemporary arts. It was also found that combining the concept of Zen aesthetics in the works of art could enhance the quality of works.
