Abstract:
The purposes of the research were: 1) to test a validity of standard competency assessment model at the qualification framework of Bachelors degree in Physical Education (four-year-program) 2) to study the level of the students opinion about the standard competency. Two - Stage Stratified random sampling technique was utilized to randomly select 133 teachers and 359 students of Physical Education program from Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, in the second semester of 2019 academic year. The research instruments were evaluation forms and questionnaires for collecting data. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis. The research findings were as follows: (1) The standard competency assessment model at the qualification framework Bachelors degree in Physical Education (four-year-program) showed quality validity based on relative chi-square = 1.12, GFI = 0.97, RMSEA = 0.03, NFI = 0.99, NNFI = 0.99, CFI = 0.99 and AGFI = 0.90; The factor loading was 0.67-0.94; The average variance extracted was 0.68-0.74 and the construct reliability was 0.83-0.94 (2) The satisfaction of the student towards seven core competencies was at a high level ( 4.05-4.33) and in the aspect of five functional competencies was at a high level ( 4.20-4.35.)
