Abstract:
This research aimed at identifying relationship between companies with sustainable
management and firm value through receiving sustainability report award to represent the
sustainability management. The secondary source data of the companies listed on the Stock
Exchange of Thailand (SET 100) between 2556 B.E. and 2560 B.E. from financial statements,
annual reports, Annual Report Form (56-1), website of SCR club and information published via
the Stock Exchange of Thailand were collected for this study. The descriptive statistics and the
inferential ones with use of Panel Data Analysis with Random effects type were also adopted for
the data analyses.
The findings revealed that the sustainability report award was positively correlated
with the ratio between the prices and the values of the companies in the Stock Exchange and the
asset cost with statistical significance at the 0.05 level, whereas, the service industry group, real
estate and construction industry group, and the age of the businesses were also positively
correlated with the ratio between the prices and the values of the companies in the Stock
Exchange and the asset cost with statistical significance at the 0.05 level. Meanwhile, it was
found that the companies size was negatively correlated with the return-on assets ratio; however,
the technology industry group, as well as the real estate and construction industry group was
positively correlated with the return-on-asset ratio, as well as the return-on-equity ratio with
statistical significance at the 0.05 level. On the contrary, there were no correlations between
sustainability report award and the return-on asset ratio and the return-on-equity ratio.
