Abstract:
This research has objective to study individual factor, behavior of using pharmacies
service and perception towards service quality in Mueang District, Chonburi Province. This is
the quantitative study using questionnaire form 400 customers who use pharmacies service in
Mueang District, Chonburi Province were participated. Collected data set were analyzed by
statistical method includes Frequency, Percentage, Standard deviation t-Test and F-test (One Way
ANOVA) using software packages for Social Science.
General information found majority of samples were females with age range 21-30
years with Bachelor degree graduation, occupation of government officers and average income
from 40,000 baht. The behavior of using pharmacies of samples are buying medicine to cure
common illness that does not require medical attention from doctor. Common timing of using
service is 18.01-22.00 hour by choosing the nearby pharmacies with pharmacist presenting and
noticeable medical certificate in the store. In overview, perception of service quality of
pharmacies is in the maximum level. Hypothesis test results found that the difference of
influencer to choose service and timing used to choose service results to different affects to
perception of service quality of pharmacies in Mueang District, Chonburi Province in term of
confidence to the service. This includes the difference of reason using to choose the service
results to different affects to perception of service quality of pharmacies in Mueang District,
Chonburi Province in term of physical appearance, tangible reliability, confidence level,
understanding the needs of individual user and difference of criteria to choose service affects to
different perception of service quality of pharmacies in Mueang District, Chonburi Province at
statistical significant of 0.05 level.
