Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study were to: 1) study the level of perception of cultural factors, organizational factors, and employee performance, 2) compare personal factors namely gender, education level, study field, income levels, and working experience that influenced the performance of employees, and 3) study organizational factors and cultural perceptions affecting employee performance.
The samples included 231 employees working in the position of the highest management level down to the operational level staff in S.A. Precision Co., Ltd. at Amata City in Chonburi province. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics; i.e. standard deviation, inferential statistics including t-test, One-way ANOVA, and multiple regression to test the hypothesis.
The study results revealed that perception of cultural factors, organizational factors, and overall employee performance were at the highest level in all aspects. The comparison of personal factors showed that gender, income levels, and working experience influenced the performance of employees. The organizational factors and the cultural perceptions affected the employee performance at the statistical significance level of 0.05.
