Abstract:
This research is a study of product development collaborative in Thai-Japanese international
company. The objective of this research is to study the product development cooperation pattern in
a transnational corporation of an electronic industry. This research aim to improve and adjust the
current pattern to run smoothly and increase the capacity and capability to compete with the
competitor also decrease an obstacle of an internal and external information transmission.
From this research, it is found that the obstacle in a transnational corporation Thai-Japanese
company is the information transmission; internal communication and product design that could not
run mass production also, use the theory of technology management, technology transmission,
product development, product life cycle and cross culture communication and apply to improve the
product development coordination process plan of an electricity chart.
The result of the research helps to eliminate the obstacle in the product design process from 45
models samples also able to increase the preparation period from 3-5 days to 1O-14days. The
success of information transmission efficiency increases from 33.3% to 90.9%, the production
capability increase 24% and the timing to respond to the error decrease from 14-18 days to 2-5
days.
