Abstract:
The research objective is to project the learning outcomes scenarios in interior architecture and interior design program for Thailand development according to the 20-Year national strategy by using factor analysis and EDFR (Ethnographic Delphi Futures Research). The research population samples used were senior students who are certified by the professional council. The population was divided into 362 students for exploratory factor analysis and 364 students for confirmatory factor analysis by using cluster random sampling which those students were came from public and private universities. Exploratory factor analysis indicates 6 factors as follows 1) Ethics and Moral which consist of 4 observed variables. 2) Professional knowledge which consist of 8 observed variables. 3) Professional cognitive skill which consist of 3 observed variables. 4) Interpersonal skills and responsibility which consist of 3 observed variables. 5) Numerical analysis, communication and information technology skills which consist of 3 observed variables. 6) Professional skill for Thailand future which consist of 4 observed variables. These factors have empirical consistency which integrated explain the ethics and moral of the expecting learning outcomes in interior architecture and interior design from percentage of 62.703-69.550. Exploratory factor analysis found that the model is related with empirical data by Chi-Square = 240.974, df = 186, CMIN/DF = 1.296 (less than 3), GFI = 0.951 (more than 1 and closed to 1), RMSEA = 0.029 (less than 0.08). The latent variables loading is positive by 1) Ethics and moral factor loading is 0.61 which latent variable loading is between 0.55-0.75. 2) Professional knowledge factor loading is 0.73 which latent variable loading is between 0.54-0.72. 3) Professional cognitive skill factor loading is 0.96 which latent variable loading is between 0.78-0.88. 4) Interpersonal skills and responsibility factor loading
is 0.89 which latent variable loading is between 0.74-0.84. 5) Numerical analysis, communication and Information technology skills factor loading is 0.87 which latent variable loading is between 0.50-0.89. 6) Professional skill for Thailand future factor loading is 0.85 which latent variable loading is between 0.71-0.83.
For ethnographic delphi futures research, researchers used purposive sampling by collecting data from 18 specialists which divided into 12 corporations and professionals and 6 instructors and academicians. Two data collection methods were used which are interview and questionnaire, respectively by selecting the significant trends with the median value more than 3.5 which is consistent opinions among the samples with inter quartile range less than 1.5. The desirable trends with frequency of 85% were being used to apply the learning outcomes scenarios in interior architecture and interior design program for Thailand development according to the 20-year national strategy (2018-2037). There were 24 out of 25 possible trends according to the specific criteria brought to apply the scenarios.
