The Roles of Basic Education Committee along the good governance principles effecting the quality development of the primary schools in the northeastern of Thailand
Abstract:
The research on the roles of the basic education committee long the good governance principles effecting the quality development of the primary schools in the northeast region of Thailand has the following objectives 1) to analyze the roles of the basic education committee and its implementation of the good governance principles, 2) to study the relationship between the roles of the basic education committee and the implementation along the good governance principles, and 3) to create a forecasting model of the quality development of the primary schools a function of the committees roles and the implementation along the good governance principles. A sample of 400 respondents derived from multistage sampling. The questionnaire was used for data collection, of which there were five scales. The overall reliability based on the Cronbach alpha coefficient was 0.98. It was a descriptive analysis, and statistical techniques involved the t-test, F-test, the Pearson correlation coefficient and the multiple regression analysis. The study revealed that the overall opinions of the committee members on the role along the good governance principles were high levels and their opinions on the quality of primary schools were also at high levels. The relationship between the roles of committee along the good governance principles was positive at moderate level and significant. The forecasting model of education quality development is explained by the committee role (Z1) and the good governance principles (Z2) expressed in standardized scores as 0.478(Z1)+0.394(Z2), respectively.
