Abstract:
This stusy is a quasi experimental research design. The aims were to examine and compare stress level of nursing students before and after the implimentation of an experimental teaching program. The population was a year three nursing student at Boromarajonnani College of Nursing Sanpasitthiprasong. In total, 50 of 75 year three nursing students were purposively selected in the study. Questionniare developed by the Department of Mental Health was used in the study to examine stress level of the participants before and after implimenting experimental teaching program. The questionnaire devided into three parts; (1) personal background, (2) Stress Assessment, and (3) Self Analysis: SASAQ. Cronbachs alpha reliability coefficient of the questionniare was 0.90. The results showed that (1) of 60 scores, the stress level of the control group was slightly high before the implimenation (mean=19.60, SD=8.30). In the experimental group, the stress level was slightly high for both before (mean=22.48, SD=8.29) and after (mean=18.20, SD=8.87) the implimentation. (2) There was no statistically significance of the stress level between the control group and the experimental group before the implimentation (p= .29). (3) Before the implimentation, the stress level of the experimental group was significantly difference to the stress level after the implimentation (p= .000).
