A Study of Learning Outcomes by Using the SICAR Model of Prathomsukesa 4 Students Learning Career and Technology Learning Area (Computer) on Slide Management Unit in UbonRatchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3
Abstract:
The purposes of this survey research were to 1) study the learning outcomes of Prathomsueksa 4 Students and 2) compare the learning outcomes of Career and Technology learning area (Computer) on slide management unit of Prathomsueksa 4 students before and after learning by using the SICAR model. The samples used in this research were Prathomsuksa 4 students at Ban Suvanvaree School under the Jurisdiction of UbonRatchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 by using a quasi-experimental probability sampling technique with the One Group - Pretest Posttest Design. The research instrument was a learning assessment form. Data analysis and interpretation were conducted by statistical software packages. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test with the statistical significance at 0.05.
The results of this research were found as described. 1) Learning outcomes of the students after learning by using the SICAR model in aspects of learning achievement, slide management skills, group work skills, and discipline were at high level. 2) Overall satisfaction and each aspect were at the highest level. The highest one was teaching media aspect, followed by the benefits of instruction, measurement and Evaluation, and content, respectively. And, 3) the computer learning achievement of the students being taught by using the SICAR model after learning was significantly higher than before at the 0.05 level.
