Abstract:
This quantitative study aims to 1) investigate the organizational culture affecting the bank officers work performance, 2) compare their work performance, and 3) propose suggestions about the organizational culture for the development of officers work performance. The data were collected from 288 samples who were bank officers. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics.
From the analysis, it was found that most of the samples were female, single, and aged between 36 -40. In addition, most of them received a bachelors degree and had worked at the bank for 1 5 years. The samples were officers Class 1 5. The average income was over 45,001 baht. Their perspectives towards the organization of these samples were at a high level. Innovation displayed the highest mean, followed by determination to achieve the goal, attention to details, teamwork, stability, importance of the outcome, and giving priority to the officers. Furthermore, it was also found that the samples expressed their opinions towards their work performance at a high level. Morale and encouragement in working displayed the highest mean, followed by relationship among officers, stability and safety, working condition, working environment, administrative policies, board of directors, career advancement, and work satisfaction. In addition, it was found that the organizational culture was closely related to the work performance of the officers with a statistical significance level of 0.05.
