A Comparison of the Geometric Thinking of the Van Hiele Model and Geometric reasoning of the 2D geometry and 3D geometry Classified by gender and academic achievement of Grade 1 students
Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to Study the level of geometric thinking on Two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometry of mathayomsuksa one students. To study the mathematical reasoning of two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometry of mathayomsuksa one students. and To compare geometric reasoning and levels of geometric thinking classified by gender and academic achievement. The samples were KalasinPittayasan School students. Office of Secondary Educational Service Area 24, Kalasin Province, 2nd semester, academic year 2019, amount 2 classes, 78 persons. By group sampling method. The research instruments were the test of the level of geometric thinking and geometric reasoning on two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometry. The confidence value is 0.85 Statistics for data analysis consist of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that
The results of the research showed that 1) The level of geometric thinking of male students is at the highest level of 15, accounting for 37.83 percent. and At the lowest, level 4 was 1 person, representing 2.70 percent. Female students were at the highest level of 0, consisting of 19 students, representing 46.34 percent. and The lowest is in level 3, 1 person is equal to 2.43 percent. Building is a process that most male students pass the exam, consisting of 18 people, representing 50 percent. and Visualization process Is the process by which 24 female students pass the exam, most of which are 57.14 percent
