Abstract:
The objective of this study on the Factors in selecting destination of Thai tourists travelling to King Narais Palace , Lopburi was 1) to study the factors in choosing to travel for Thai tourists, a case study of Thai tourists traveling to PhraNaraiRatchaniwet in LopBuri province, and 2) to compare the factors in choosing to travel for Thai tourists, acase study of Thai tourists traveling to PhraNaraiRatchaniwet in LopBuri province classified by personal data such as gender, age, education level, occupation, and average monthly income.
Regarding the method of research, the sample group used in the study was 400 Thai tourists who traveled to the PhraNaraiRatchaniwet in LopBuri province during the survey. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire for data collection with Cronbachs Alpha confidence at 0.90. The data was analyzed by finding mean, standard deviation, t-test classified by personal data. One-way variance was analyzed by F-test classified by personal data. After that, compare the differences in the paired average by Sheffe's test.
The results of the study showed that
1.In terms of the personal data of the respondents, most of them were female and aged between
31- 35 years, followed by aged between 36-40 years and aged between 46 50 years. Most of them have a bachelor's degree, followed by a high vocational education and secondary or lower education. Most of their jobs were employees / employees of private companies, followed by civil service / state enterprises and private businesses. Most of them have average monthly income between 10,000 - 20,000 baht, followed by average monthly income between 20,001 - 30,000 baht and average monthly income between 30,001 - 40,000 baht.
2.Factors in selecting destination of Thai tourists travelling to King NaraisPalace ,Lopburi in all aspects about the level of decision making are at a high level. When considering each aspect by sorting the mean from highest to lowest, the highest mean is the tourist attraction which the level of decision making is at a highest level. Next, it is the facilities in tourist attractions which the level of decision making is at a high level, the format of the service, which the level of decision making is at a high level, the services that tourists should receive which the level of decision making is at a high level, the transportation to reach tourist attractions which the level of decision making is at a high level, and tourism activities which the level of decision making is at a high level.
3.The results of comparison Factors in selecting destination of Thai tourists travelling to King Narais Palace, Lopburi classified by gender, age, education level, occupation and average monthly income showed that it is not different.
