Pseudo multinomial vectors for solving nonlinear partial differential equations

Abstract:
In this thesis, we introduce the tool called the pseudo multinomial vectors

function on its domain for all i ∈ 1, 2, · · · , n. The
aforesaid vectors can be established from the multinomial expansion for three variables.
Moreover, they can be rearranged in compact forms by combinatorial calculation. As
a consequence, these vectors reveal some interesting properties which are beneficial to
be applied. Later on, we utilize these vectors in solving for series solutions of nonlinear
differential equations in Cauchy-Kovalevskaya. In term of the vectors, they will be able
to simplify the structure of derivatives of nonlinear operator F[u, ux, uxx] with respect
to t at t = 0 up to fifth order by the chain rule, for any analytic function u(x, t). Finally,
the obtained series solutions will be truncated to a polynomial of at most 8 terms as
approximate solution.
