Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to study the use of training materials efficiently in a technical college. The techniques which are introduced for improving are value engineering, job analysis and work study. In the study, the machine-tool work is selected to analyze problems and projects. By value engineering technique, the drilling machines and gear pumps are selected to be the training projects and most of their materials are about 95% iron In analyzing the job of the selected projects, the parts of drilling machine are analyzed and evaluated to 5 grades by predetermined grading method. The results of job evaluations can be planned and assigned to students correctly The study of time, the jobs are broken down to the small elements and stop watch time study and established standard data are used. It is taken 3,944.234 minutes in producing one drilling machine and if the trainees work in full efficiency, they can produce 515 drilling machines/year However, the analyzed jobs can be taken to plan for training and the materials will be use efficiently in the maner of received skills and saving the time and materials.
