Abstract:
This independent study aimed to study the communications pattern that
influenced and promoted to teamwork efficiency of generation Y personnel in
organizations. The data was collected through the questionnaire by Reliability, 0.900
on communications pattern and 0.917 on teamwork efficiency of Cronbachs Alpha
coefficient. The 481 generation Y personnel were completed the questionnaires via a
convenient sampling method and the data was analyzed in terms of statistics,
percentage, average, standard deviation, Pearsons Correlation Coefficient, and
Stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The result found that of the representative samples were woman, aged 28-33
years old, bachelors degree graduates, worked for private company, worked as
operational level staffs, 3-5 years of experience, received wages of 10,000-20,000 baht
a month, and worked in Thai organization. After conducted the multiple regression
analysis found the communications pattern were downward communication, verbal
and non-verbal communication, upward communication, formal and informal
communication, and horizontal or lateral communication influenced and promoted to
the teamwork efficiency respectively with 69.80 percentage of forecasting power at
significance level of 0.01.
