Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study the decision-making behavior of life insurance companies in Phuket and to study customer relationship management s effect on sustainable growth in the case of life insurance companies in Phuket. The sample consisted of 400 people who were customers of life insurance companies in Phuket. Questionnaires were used to collect data and then analyzed with the results shown as frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, and one-way ANOVAs.
The results of the analysis were as follows: 1) Most of the respondents were female, 31to40 year sold, married, private company employees, had an average monthly income of 15,001 to 20,000 baht, 4to 5family members, and 1to3family members with life insurance. 2) The investigation of life insurance decision-making behavior found that most respondents have only
1 life insurance with endowment policy, a life insurance contract of less than or equal to 10 years, pay annual premiums of 15,001 to 20,000 baht, pay annual life insurance premiums for a 1 years annuity, and most of them bought the life insurance by contacting the company through a life insurance agent. And 3) The customer relationship managements effect on sustainable growth in the case of life insurance companies in Phuket was at a high level overall. The factors most affecting sustainable growth in the case of life insurance companies in Phuket were customer retention and communication, followed by customer relationship building. And, the least important factor was useful suggestions.
