Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to compare the learning achievement before and after the treatment in the experimental group and control group. 2) to compare the learning achievement after the treatment between the experimental group with the control group. The purposive sampling was used in order to select the samples of 93 students from Mathayomsuksa one of Rachadamri School, under the Department of General Education, Ministry of Education, during the second semester of academic year 2012. The sample was divided into two groups; 47 students in the experimental group received physical education learning management using motivation while the other 46 students in control group received the conventional teaching. The research instruments were composed of the learning activity plans using motivation with an index of congruence of 0.66 and the physical education learning achievement test with a reliability of 0.82. The statistics used for analyzing data were mean, standard deviation , and t-test. The findings revealed that: 1) The mean scores of physical education learning achievement of the experimental group students after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment at .05 level. 2) The mean scores of physical education learning achievement of the control group students after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment at .05 level. 3) The mean scores of learning achievement after treatment of the experimental group students were significantly higher than the control group students at .05 level.
