Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to develop the administration model of Islamic private
schools in southern Thailand. The study consisted of 4 steps: 1) Conceptual Framework for
research, 2) To study the necessities and demands about development of administration model
for Islamic Private School in southern Thailand, 3) Creation of administration model for Islamic
Private Schools in southern Thailand, and 4) Evaluation of administration model for Islamic Private
Schools, in southern Thailand, The sample consisted: 1) 310 School administrators of Islamic
Private Schools in southern Thailand, sample size determination using Krejcie and Morgans
table, 2) 21 administration experts of Islamic Private School in southern Thailand (Purposive
sampling), the instruments of data collection were demand questionnaire and suitability evaluation.
3) 5 Developing specialists of administration model for Islamic Private Schools in southern Thailand,
the instrument was a five - rating - scale and the data was analyzed using by median Analysis,
inter - quartile range, mean and standard deviation. The study found that 21 experts agreed with
seven main components and fifty sub - components as follows: 1) school administrators including
six sub - components, 2) educational management of teachers and personnel including twelve
sub - components, 3) academic and religious Curriculum including thirteen sub - components,
4) School including twelve sub - components, 5) School boards including three sub - components,
6) Building of learning society including two sub - components, and 7) School identity including
two sub - components.
