Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop and evaluate the efficacy of the learning management plan entitled the effect of the development of Arabic language reading skills by using game technique for primary Islamic stage Students, Year 6, 2) to compare the leaning achievement pre-test and post-test of this learning management plan, 3) to compare the pre-test and post-test learning achievement of the learning management plan by using game technique and by traditional technique, and 4) to study the satisfaction of the students after using learning management plan by using game technique. The sample group has been selected by using cluster random sampling by drawing lots. They were 60 students of two classes, 6/8 and 6/10. The tools used in this research were the learning management plan by using game technique and by traditional technique, achievement test and the questionnaires for the student satisfaction for the exercises and activities of the learning management plan by game technique. Statistics used in this research were average, percentage, and standard deviation.
The results of the research were as follows
1) The efficacy of the learning management plan by using game technique for primary Islamic stage students, year 6 was higher than the standard, performance (E1/E2 = 83.15/82.34)
2) The post-test learning achievement used this learning management plan was considered statistically significant higher than pre-test one at .01
3) There was not considerably different between the pre-test learning achievement of the management plan used game technique and traditional one, whereas the post-test learning achievement of the learning management plan by using game technique was considered statistically significant higher than by one used general technique at .05
4) The students satisfaction for the learning management plan entitled the effect of the development of Arabic language reading skills by using game technique for primary Islamic stage students, year 6 was a very high level ( = 4.51)
