The Relationship between Administrative Skills and Academic Administrative Procedure of School Administrators under the Municipality in Three Southern Border Provinces
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were (1) to study the administration skills level of administrators,
(2) to study the academic administration of administrators, (3) to compare the administration skills level
of administrators, (4) to compare the academic administration of administrators, (5) to study the
relationship between the administration skills and the academic administration of administrators, and (6)
to study the issues and suggestions on the administration skills and the academic administration of
administrators. The samples were 53 administrators and 261 teachers of basic education. The tool used in
the research is the questionnaire consisting of 4 parts. The findings are as follows : 1. The overall results
of administration skills of administrators is at a very high level. 2. The overall results of the level of academic administration of administrators is at a high level. 3. The overall comparison results of the
administration skills level of administrators classified by gender, degree, position, and working experiences
are not different. except working experiences are the different. 4. The comparison results of the academic
administration of administrators by gender and position are not difference. except the degree and working
experiences are different. 5. The overall relationship between the administration skills and the academic
administration of administrators are quite high level and positively correlated. 6. The results of analyzing
the problems and suggestions on the administration skills and the academic administration of
administrators. Problem: administrators are the lack of : planning in work and follow-up, administrators
too focused in general affairs, lack of the evaluation process in a systematic and continuous feedback.
Suggestions: administrators should assign clearly and effectively, support teaching materials and should
measure and evaluate the results continuously.
