The Development of learning skills in Inclusive Education classroom of Special needs and Ordinary students Majoring in General Science,and Early Childhood, Faculty of Education, Kalasin University
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the process of classroom management development of exceptional children and ordinary children, 2) study the skills of classroom management for exceptional children and ordinary children which it can be with them and they can do it themselves, and 3) study the students satisfaction toward classroom management development of exceptional children and ordinary children.
The total sample was 97 science and early childhood majors students from the Faculty of education, Kalasin University. The sample was selected by purposive sampling technique. The pre-test and post-test, three difference exercises of individual lesson plans, and interviews, and were used to collect the data. The data also collected form five times experiment. The statistical devices used for quantitative data were mean, standard deviation , and percentage.
The major results show: 1) learners researched the process of acquiring knowledge to understand the nature. More importantly, the learning process can be developed through BloomsTaxonomy which is knowledge, Comprehend, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation. 2) The students took post-test as 71.56% which was much more than pre-test that showed 32.33%. The students can create the individual lesson plans which receive the highest scores in the third time as 92.30%, followed by the second time as 72.28%, and the least in the first time as 55.62%. 3) The level of students satisfaction whom ages between 22-23 years old toward classroom management development of exceptional children and ordinary children were 33.51%, the students ages between 24 and above showed their satisfaction as 2.06%, the students ages between 18-19 showed their satisfaction as 0%. The most of the students in this study were female 81.44% and male 17.55%. The students in this study were 100% single. The students were mostly in senior high school as 97.93%, completed diploma as 2.06%. It was found that the students satisfaction were in a high level as 3.96. The score of each item was in a high level. The item that the students showed their high level of satisfaction were: the appropriate of contexts and activities with time period as 4.14; the positive attitude toward exceptional students after study the inclusive education course as 4.13; and the students can apply the policy of inclusive education into their real life as 4.10. The item that showed the least level was explained as the body of knowledge of the teacher that can explain right to the point and the ability of explanation and clarification of the teacher as 3.64.
