Abstract:
This study has the objective to 1) develop the Automatic Irrigation System for
Vertical Plants, 2) develop a controlling system and demonstrate the availability on
mobile application and 3) evaluate the capability of the Control Automatic Irrigation
System for Vertical Plants, has research by testing. The study result has found that
the testing result showed that it could determine the period of the valve by timing.
There has Emission Uniformity (EU) in all 9 planting pots at 95.76%, which is over
80%, considered good irrigation criteria. The capability of the irrigation system; if
accumulated humidity in the soil is less than 25% water pump is activated by 10
seconds for 88.87 milliliters each time and stop when humidity in the soil is greater
than the average 70%. Capability of Control Automatic Irrigation System for vertical
plants activate and demonstrate the environmental data such as humidity on soil,
light intensity, temperature, relative humidity in the air, water level including alert
when water level, humidity in soil, light intensity show lower value to the mobile
application is accurate and could control the lighting system when planting in low
light and can be turned on and off automatically, these functions Able to work
efficiently and accurately.
