The Development of Management Model for Community Involvement in Education of The Schools Under The Jurisdiction of The Office of The Basic Education Commission
Abstract:
The general objective of this research was to develop of management model for community Involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission, with the specific objectives as follows: 1) Study the current condition, problems and factors supporting the management model for community Involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission. 2) Create and determine the quality of management model for community Involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission. and 3) Evaluation confirmation of management model for community Involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission, Research methodology was divided into 3 stages, as follows: Stage 1: Studying the condition, problems and factors supporting of management model for community involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission, by studying from the documentation and from 30 persons of 3 prototype schools. Stage2: Creating and determining the quality of management model for community involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the Basic Education Commission, from 17experts, checked the consistency of the modeland 11 experts checked the quality of the model byconnoisseurship. Stage 3: Evaluation confirmation the management model using a questionnaire with 325 school administrators and teachers from sixty-five educational service area. The data were analyzed by mean, Standard Deviation, percentage, and content analysis.
The findings revealed as follows:
1. The current condition, problem, and factors supporting community involvement in educational management of the schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Basic Education Commission from three prototype schools, there are divided into 3 parts, as follows: Part 1: The community involvement in educational management of the schools was at a high level. Part 2: The problem of the community involvement in educational management was at the least level. Part 3: The factors supporting the community involvement in educational management were at the highest level.
2. The creation and verification of quality of the management model for community involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the Basic Education Commission are divided into 3 parts, as follows: Part 1: The results of creating a management model for community involvement in education, the model composes of 4 components: the concept of the community involvement in educational management, principles of the management model, objectives of the management model, and method and indicators for the success; Part 2: Results of the consistency check of the components, concepts, principles, objectives, methods and indicators for the success of the community involvement in educational management model by 17 experts, 16 experts (94.12%) agreed, and one expert (5.88%) disagreed; and Part 3: Quality assurance of the community involvement in educational management model for educational management by Expert Seminar of the 11 experts, it was found that all components are accurate, appropriate, and useful at the highest level.
3. The results of evaluation confirmation on the management model for community involvement in education of the schools under the jurisdiction of the office of the Basic Education Commission, found that the feasibility and beneficial are at the highest level.
