Abstract:
In designing 3D animation for Wai Kroo and Thai Boxing Dancing(Sao Noi Pra
Pang),an Articulated Animation technique is employed to make many dependent motions such as
joints of arms, effectors of arms and fists. Forward Kinematics are adopted to drive such motions
to swing. To make Model move genuinely, both Inverse Kinematics and Forward Kinematics are
also made use of. In addition, Computer Graphic Workstation is utilized due to its effectiveness
over Personal Computer in creating Model and in forming the movements of 3D Model. Then,
SOFTIMAGE 3D program is loaded on Silicon Graphic(Indy) to animate and render pictures.
The following step is to transfer the file consisted of rendered pictures from Silicon Graphic to
Personal Computer in order to make the moving pictures.
The movie is composed of 1323 frames, and the speed of animation is 25 frames per
second when being run on Personal Computer with Multimedia program, for instance, Adobe
Premier 4.2.
