Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate general information, the behavior and personal financial planning of private organization employees. The hypothesis of this study was the different general information effected different personal financial planning. The participants were 400 private organization employees, Chiang Rai province. The instrument was a questionnaire. The researcher collected and analyzed data of the behavior and personal financial planning of private organization employees by using frequency and percentage. And, the hypothesis of this study used T-Test and ANOVA.
The result of this study revealed that the most employees were female, aged between 26-35 years old which had high vocational certificate or diploma. Mostly, they were single and gained 10,001-15,000 THB per month. The employees were in administrative level approximately 6-10 years. In terms of the background of saving and investment, the received the news from staffs which they needed more information about financial planning. They also had debt from car finance. However, the employees referred saving which not set exact amount of saving per year. The purpose of saving was for emergency payment but planned long term in the future. Moreover, the employees had the attitudes about personal financial planning in high level which highly focused on high compensation and safety. Besides, from the hypothesis testing, different age and educational level effected different personal financial planning that presented in significant level below 0.05.
