The comparison of learning achievement teamwork skills and attitudes towards science on nervous system and sensory organ for mathayomsuksa 4 students between inquiry learning method (7e) with cooperative learning method tgt technique and inquiry learning method (7e)
Abstract:
This research aimed to study learning achievement, teamwork skills and attitudes towards science on nervous system and sensory organ between pre-test and post-test of Mathayomsuksa 4 students using inquiry learning (7E) with cooperative learning method (TGT technique) and to compare learning achievement, teamwork skills and attitudes towards science of Mathayomsuksa 4 students who had been taught by using inquiry learning (7E) with cooperative learning method (TGT technique) and taught by inquiry learning method (7E) alone. The participants were two classes of Mathayomsuksa 4 students from Sriracha school using cluster random sampling technique. The research instruments included inquiry learning (7E) with cooperative learning method (TGT technique) lesson plans, inquiry learning method (7E) lesson plans, a Biology learning achievement test, teamwork skills assessment scale, and attitudes towards science scale. The research results revealed that the students who were taught by using the inquiry learning (7E) with cooperative learning method (TGT technique) had learning achievements, teamwork skills and attitudes towards science post-test scores higher than their pre-test scores also higher than the scores of the students who had been taught only using the inquiry learning method (7E) at the .05 level of significantly (p < .05).
