Abstract:
The research presents the study and compare of factors which effect to the motivation of a construction
team in Aeronautical Radio of Thailand ltd. including with project managers, engineers, foremen and labors.
This study aims to identify positive and negative motivation factors which are appropriate to the construction
teams. After collecting and analyzing data from questionnaires based on theory, the result shows that the most
important motivation factors for labor is punctuality of payment and negative motivation factor is repeated work.
Good relationship between co-workers is the motivation factor for foremen, while unsuccessful work is the negative
factor. For engineers, staff welfare is one of their motivator and inappropriate physical environment is their negative
motivator. Opportunity to grow up in career is the motivation factor for project managers, the punishment form the
supervisor is the negative factor. However, there is difference in motivation factor between Bangkok construction
teams and provincial construction teams. From the study we can apply the result in developing human resource plan
for the construction team to improve the efficiency of the construction project.
