Abstract:
This research aimed to study the characteristics and results of using technological dimension in learning arts for mental therapy of abused children in Children Village School, Changwat Kanchanaburi. The characteristics of using technological dimension in learning consisted of 3 dimensions: first dimension was using the instructional media in learning; second dimension was technological using of techniques in learning; and the third dimension was management in learning and also studying the results of using technological dimension in learning arts for mental therapy of abused children in physical aspect, mental aspect and social aspect. Case study was conducted on 4 techers and officers and 8 students from Children Village School, Changwat Kanchanaburi. Qualitive data was collected by using formal and informal interviews, participant and non-participant observation, documents and biography analysis. Characteristics of using technological aspects in 3 dimensions were different kinds of media in learning arts. This media was assembled with natural-media available in their school. Learners learnt together by using demonstration via natural observation, and experimented together with teachers and students. Children could learn according to their will by managing the content suitable with their age and ability. The results of the technological dimension in learning arts, in physical aspect found that the children who were physically strong had better mental condition with less aggressive and could control themselves better. In social aspect, they could work well with the others and had the dominant ability in presenting their opinion to the others and solving problems in work environment.
