The Study of School Administrators Roles in the King's Philosophy of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy under Office of the Vocational Education Commission in Phayao
Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to study the roles of administrators and develop guidelines for administrators in the king's philosophy of the sufficiency economy philosophy under office of the vocational education commission in Phayao. The sample group was 168 administrators who work under office of the vocational education commission in Phayao. The instruments were questionnaire with 1-5 Likers scale and semi-structured interview. Data analyses were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results show that
1) The overall of the roles of administrators in the King's philosophy of the sufficiency economy philosophy under office of the vocational education commission in Phayao was at a high level. Considering each aspect ordered from the highest to the least, the roles of academic administration management was at a highest level, followed by budget management, general administration management, and human resource management, respectively.
2) The guidelines to develop administrators roles in the king's philosophy of the sufficiency economy philosophy under office of the vocational education commission in Phayao are as followed. Administrators should have a plan to manage the schools budget, then follow up the results and apply them to improve the budget management. Human resource management, administrators should have plans or projects in order to encourage teachers to understand and acknowledge the value of the sufficiency economy philosophy. For general administration management, administrators should have plans to manage buildings and atmosphere in school. There should be collaboration with communities to participate in schools activities in order to encourage students to apply sufficiency economy philosophy in their life.
