Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study factors affecting motivation and workplace environment of employees participation of sugar industry sector 2) to study the participation in working of the sugar industrys employees and 3) to study of factors affecting the participation in working of the sugar industrys employees. The tool exploited in this research was a questionnaire, and the statistics used in data analysis were percentage, average mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.
The results of this study indicated that employees of sugar industry sector had high level of motivation factors in terms of job security, workplace environment in terms of support had high level, and participation in terms of participation in benefits had high level. Motivation factor and workplace environment influenced work participation with a statistical significance level of .05. Two factors could jointly explain 74.50% of the variation in the participation. It was found that workplace environment was the best factor that could explain work participation.
