The Study of the State and Need of Practice Based on Standard Code of Ethics for Teachers in the Secondary Schools under Phukamyao Educational Area United, Secondary Educational Serviece Area Office 36
Abstract:
The purposes of this Independent Study were 1)to study the state of code of conduct and 2) to study the needs and suggestions for code of conduct; for teachers in the secondary schools under the Phukamyao Educational Area United, Secondary Educational Service Area Office 36. The samples in this study consisted of 228 persons, both the schools administrators and teachers. The data were collected by closed form questionnaires and structured interview, analyzed by percentages, mean, standard deviation and descriptive. The results of this study found that the practice follow code of ethics of the teachers in secondary schools under the Phukamyao Educational Area United, Secondary Educational Service Area Office 36 in overviewsathighest level. Considering 5 categories 9 aspects, there were 3 categories 7 aspectsin highest level as followed: Code of conduct for disciples and recipients category; The first aspect is service with sincerity and equality. The second aspectis loving, kindness, caring and encourage the disciples and recipientsequally.The third aspectis to be a good model; physical, speech and mind. The fourth aspectis to encourage the right learning, skills and habits for the disciplesand therecipientswith fullness and integrity.The fifth aspectis do not act as hostile or impede the physical, mental, emotional and social progress of the disciples and the recipients. Code of conduct for companion category; The sixth aspect is helping each other creatively, strongly in moral system, harmony among the teachers and code of conduct for profession category;The seventhaspectis love, faith, honesty, responsibility for the profession and to be a good member of the professional organization. Beside, there were 2 categoriesand 2 aspects in high level;Code of conduct for individual category;The eighth aspectisself discipline, professional development, personality and vision and Code of conduct for Social service;The ninth aspectis: to be a leader in economic conservation, society, art and culture, knowledge, environment, Keep the interests of the collective and adhere in the democratic regime with the monarchy.For needs and suggestionsfor improving themselves incode of conduct for individual, Code of conduct for profession, Code of conduct for disciples andrecipients, Code of conduct for profession Companion and Code of conduct for Social service.This is for the highest interests of the organization, disciples and recipients.
