Relationship between the Characteristics of Administrators and the Cooperation Management of schools under Office of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region
Abstract:
The objective of this research were to study: 1) the characteristics of administrators under
the Office of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region, 2) the cooperation management of
schools under the Office of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region, and 3) the
relationship between the characteristics of administrators and the cooperation management of
schools under Office of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region.
The samples used in this study were 360 teachers, staffs, and administrators under Office
of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region. They were selected by multi-stage sampling.
The research instrument used to collect data was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The
statistics used to analyze data were mean, standard deviation, and Pearsons product moment
correlation coefficient.
The results of the research showed that 1) the characteristics of administrators consisted
of leadership, information technology, vision, academic skill, communication skill, and innovation
invention was at the high level, 2) the cooperation management of schools consisted of
planning and budget, information technology and promotion of trade and business was at the high
level, and 3) the relationship between the characteristics of administrators and the cooperation
management of schools under Office of Vocational Education Commission Eastern Region
was statistically significant at the .01 level.
