Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to 1) create an instructional package that followed the inquiry-based learning on the topic of work and energy for secondary 3 students and to meet the efficiency level of 80/80, 2) compare the students average pre-test score with the students average post-test score after learning from the instructional package, and 3) study the students satisfaction with the instructional package.
The samples in this research were 41 secondary 3 students at Watkhienkhet School in the first semester of the 2018 academic year. The students were selected using simple random sampling technique. The instruments of this research were: 1) an instructional package on the topic of work and energy, 2) a learning achievement test, and 3) a satisfaction survey questionnaire. The research statistics including mean, standard deviation, and t-test (Dependent sample) were employed to analyze the data.
The research results showed that 1) the results of efficiency validation of instructional package followed inquiry-based learning on the topic of work and energy for Secondary 3 Students were 81.46/80.24 according to the specified standard, 2) the students average post-test score (X̅ = 24.07), after studying through the whole period of the instructional package, was statistically significant higher than the students average pre-test score (X̅ = 15.98) at .05 level, and 3) the students satisfaction level of the instructional package was at the high level (X̅ = 4.14).
