Abstract:
3D printing technology is currently very popular. But on the surface of the work piece is not smooth, can see the plastic stripes arranged in layers. This research aims to study how to improve the surface of the work pieces printed from a 3D printer to be smooth. By finding the relationship pf the parameters that result in reduced surface roughness of the work piece. Therefore, the researcher has studied the surface improvement process of the work piece. Determine the factors and level of factors that are suitable for improving the surface of the work piece. According to studies, it has been found that Factors affecting the surface roughness of the piece work consist of 3 factors the surface area of the work piece 2000, 5000 and 8000 square millimeters. 50, 75 and 100 minutes of baking time and 10, 15 and 20 ml. of acestone volume. Therefore, all factors were brought to design a 3 factorial experiment. At the confidence level of 95 percent, the experiment was repeated 2 times. It found that each factor has an influence and influence with the surface roughness of the pieces. Therefore, finding the appropriate factor that causes the surface roughness of the work piece to be 0.2 microgram. It was found that optimum factor level was the surface area of the work piece is 20.10 2225 mm2, the baking time is 50.1322 minutes and the amount of acestone is 19.7009 ml. From the results of the experiment, the actual equation can be used it
