Abstract:
The purposes of this quasi-experimental research were 1) to develop supplementary computer using skill instruction for Prathomsuksa 1 students and 2) to compare the students computer using skill between before and after learning through the developed instruction. The sample included twenty of Prathomsuksa 1 students from Wat Thong Nai School in the 1st semester of academic year 2014. The research instruments involved lesson plans and test of computer using skill. Data were statistically analyzed in percentage, MEAN, standard deviation and t-test.
The findings revealed as follows.
1. The components of supplementary computer using skill instruction for Prathomsuksa 1 students delineated 1) theory/principle/concept 2) learning objectives 3) learning activities consisting of step 1: introduction and task analysis, step 2: preparation, step 3: demonstration and following the given command, step 4: practicing, step 5: evaluation and improvements, step 6: proficient operation and step 7: summary and assessment and 4) learning outcomes.
2. After the experiment, the students computer using skill was higher than that before the experiment at significance level .01.
