A Study of Problems, Attitude and Satisfaction of Employees in Technical Service Division Towards the Educational Media through I-TECH Website of RICOH (Thailand) Co.,Ltd.
Abstract:
Purposes of this research were to study problems, attitude and satisfaction of employees in Technical Service Division, towards the educational media through I-TECH website of RICOH (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. Total population was 260 persons. Tool for data collection was a questionnaire withreliability of 0.8609. Data was analyzed by SPSS + for percentage, average, standard deviation and one-way analysis of variance. The results of research were as follows. In terms of the problems, it found that 1) the majority problem was personnel (X =3.23) thereby they had a lot of regular jobs then they had limited time in using the media. 2) The problem in tools and equipments was X = 3.14 such as the sufficiency of computer. 3) The problem in information was X =3.09 such as update and accuracy of information. 4) The problem in other support was X =2.68 such as location of service center. The different sex of population had different average value in problems of other support related in statistic difference of 0.05. The different age of population had the different average value in problems of tools and equipments and personnel related in statistic difference of 0.05. When the test for difference was done in pair of Scheffe's Test, it found that the different
condition of population had the different average value in problems of information. The different income of population had the different average value in problems of tools and equipments and other support related in statistic difference of 0.05. In terms of the attitude, it found that 1) the majority attitude in terms of knowledge was X =3.49 such as giving necessary information for working.
2) The attitude in terms of feeling was X = 3.48 such as I-TECH media which was very important for the company. 3) The attitude in terms of trend for usage was X =3.47 such as to be able to use in training for new employees. When the test for difference was done in pair of the Scheffe's Test, it found that the different educational level of population and different working experience had the
different average value in attitude related in statistic difference of 0.05. In terms of satisfaction, it found that 1) the majority satisfaction in information was X =3.27 such as useful information.2) The satisfaction in personnel was X = 3.15 such as providing the instruction and advise from experts. 3) The satisfaction in other support was X =3.10 such as appropriated time, clean. 4) The satisfaction in tools and equipments was such as information access, speed. When the test for
difference was done in pair of Scheffe's Test, it found that every pair had the different satisfaction in information. The difference of educationa11eve1 of population had the different average value in satisfactionof tools and equipments and other support related in statistic difference of 0.05.
