Abstract:
This research aims to study the patterns of personal financial planning of the employees of Bangkok Bank public company limited, Phayao province. Population and sample in this research consisted of 32 employees of Bangkok Bank public company limited, Phayao province. The research data was collected by using questionnaires and structured interview and data analysis using descriptive statics include frequency, percentage.
The research found that most respondents have monthly income not exceeding 30,000 baht, representing 40.8 per cent, followed by the month, not exceeding 60,000 baht 21.9 percent and followed by no more than 45,000 baht per month, representing 18.8 percent. The forms of personal financial planning study found that most respondents (65.6%) are presently the savings and investment planning, 40.6% of respondents planned for acquisition or possession of assets planning, and 40% of respondents planned for debt and tax planning. In addition, the results of interviews found that the half of interviewees indicated that they decided to make the financial personal planning by themselves, and the second factors was the family members influence their personal financial planning, and a minority will use the services of expert consulting. According to the planning purposes, interviewees revealed that they want to have a better quality of life before and after their retirement, and they want to prevent the risk of excessive liabilities.
