Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new double integral inequality to be used in derivation of asymptotical stability criterion of a linear system with a time-varying delay. The asymptotic stability condition is formulated based on the Lyapunov-Krasovski functionals. With the use of our new integral inequality, a less conservative stability condition is obtained in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI). At the end, numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed stability condition.
