Abstract:
The study investigated the relationship between students academic achievement and their moral and religious-related activities at Asia-Pacific International University, Thailand. The methodology used in this study was purposive sampling of secondary data, and with the subjects being 764 students enrolled in different majors of study during the academic year 2015-2016 at the University. Data retrieval was from records held in software called SARRA and NOSTRESS (version 4) administered by the Admission and Records Office. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA to indicate significant difference between students academic achievement and their participation in moral and religious-related activities. The results indicated there was a positive correlation between students academic achievement and their participation in moral and religious-related activities (r-value = 0.475, p-value = 0.000 at α = 0.01). The study also showed that there was a statistically significant difference between students academic achievement and their participation in moral and religious-related activities at α = 0.05. The research findings indicated that our University students with high academic achievement demonstrated trends of active involvement in moral and religious-related activities organized by the institution.
