Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study the state of risk management of basic education schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Educational Service Area Office, 2) develop a risk management model for basic education schools, and 3) evaluate the developed model. The research was conducted 3 stages: the first stage comprising 1) to study documents and related research by analyzing concepts and theories to obtain the research conceptual framework, 2) to interview the experts in schools on risk management status of the basic education schools, and 3) to survey the risk management status from 159 samples using questionnaires. The second stage: building up a risk management model for basic education schools and verifying suitability of the model through focus group discussions of 10 experts. The third stage: evaluating the developed model using questionnaires with 10 experts.
The research results were found that
1. The state of risk management of basic schools as a whole was at ahigh level.
2. The model of risk management for basic education schools composes of 4 components: 1) risk of strategies, 2) risk of operation, 3) risk of budget, and 4) risk of legal and regulation enforcement.
3. The developed model evaluation has suitability and feasibility of implementation at a high level.
