Abstract:
This research aims to develop a model of small-sized school management in Chumporn province towards the learning organization. This research consists of three stages: Stage 1: to study related information of small-sized school management towards the learning organization. The survey technique has been done with 97 small-sized schools under Chumporns Office of Primary Educational Service Area 1 and 2. Stage 2: to construct a model of small-sized school management which focus group technique was applied with the purposive sampling of 10 experts. Stage 3: an evaluation of the developed model. The survey technique has been done in this stage with 97 small-sized school administrators under Chumporns Office of Primary Educational Service Area 1 and 2.
The findings revealed as follows:
1. An overall related information of small-sized school management towards the learning organization in Chumporn province was at a high level.
2. A model of small-sized school management towards the learning organization in Chumporn province comprises 11 components: 1) continuous and widely development in school personnel, 2) appropriate organizational structure relevant to external organizational coordination, 3) up to date vision and strategy and relevant to change, 4) organizations knowledge keeping and sharing, 5) personnel development in technology, 6) promoting in sharing and exchange in experience and learning, 7) schools administrator shall act as a learning leader, 8) promoting on information sharing and exchange, 9) promoting and encouraging in new creativity, 10) internal supervision to enhance work performance and effectiveness, 11) building work culture in accepting and learning new ideas.
3. The feasibility and appropriateness of the small-sized school management towards the learning organization model was at a high level.
