Abstract:
The study of mathematical model and controller design of hand exoskeleton for rehabilitation of patient with stroke
is to obtain the suitable model which can be used to design a proper controller. The hand exoskeleton consists of a set of links,
that form a skeleton-like used to move the patients hand who wear it, a controller and pneumatic controller. First, kinematics
of the hand exoskeleton is described. Then, the mathematical model that represents dynamics of the hand exoskeleton is
derived. In order to design the proper controller for the hand exoskeleton, our first attempt is testing it with P-Controller to
verify the position of each links in the hand exoskeleton. These links must be able to abduct or adduct the patients fingers.
Next, the velocity of the finger tips, joints are controlled by attuned-controller via the links and pneumatics actuator. Finally,
the results are illustrated and discussed. Which show that the controllers can control the skeleton within our expectation.
